The event was held at Nasdak, a rooftop venue.
In an effort to deviate from Nasdak's customary modern settings, our aim was to craft a welcoming and cozy winter ambiance. Drawing inspiration from Clarisse's recent journey to Morocco (a testament to our belief in the value of travel experiences), we envisioned wall-to-wall carpets as the foundation of our design concept. From there, the idea evolved to include an array of lanterns, abundant candlelight, and captivating aromas, all working together harmoniously to infuse the space with a sense of enchantment.

Bathed in some afternoon light, this picture shows the refraction of light through different kinds of glass and the fun but subtle play of colour on the tables.
The burgundy draping at the back of the venue was selected to form an inconspicuous part of the decor. In actual fact, what was hiding behind it was an exhibition of the winners’ works, to be displayed after they were announced.
Lynelle Chrystal Kenned, singer and musical theatre actor par excellence, was our MC for the evening and opened the proceedings with “Life is a cabaret”!
For a welcome drink, we opted for heartwarming sherry on a cold winters night.
